MIKE PANAHI, DMD

Chief Executive Officer

Mike is a thought leader in the emerging " connected " oral healthcare space. He strongly believes that Smart/Connected devices in dentistry creates revolutionary changes in every facet of dental medicine from homes to dental offices.

Mike is a University of Pennsylvania trained dental professional with over 10 years of experience in clinical practice, hospital dentistry, product development and healthcare innovation. He has successfully built and managed teams, identified and driven key metrics to increase substantial shareholder value in a leading Dental Service Organization. The DSO grew rapidly through acquisitions and Mike played an important role in integrating and operating these acquired group practices. 

He has worked on projects across four continents and his international dental experience includes diverse skill set in product development, IP creation and brand development perfect for developing connected oral healthcare products.

CHUCK MANCINI

Chief Technology Officer

Passionate about sensors, hardware and making data actionable, Chuck enjoys the challenges involved in design and developing the smart toothbrush hardware from design through to prototyping, obtaining FDA, ADA certification and production. He is a contributor to firmware that provides the intelligence for Smartybrush.

Previously a professional sportsman he is passionate about new technology. Before joining Smartybrush, he was CTO of an Italian biotechnology firm focused in oral medicine. 

Chuck works with electrical, industrial and process engineers to design better smarter toothbrush that solve thermal, condition of teeth and gums, cosmetic, human factor and manufacturability issues. 

Chuck holds a Doctorate’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Naples, Italy.

VICTORIA ROSENFELD

VP, Product Design

As a leader for the industrial design group, she has been instrumental in cultivating one of the industry’s most awarded design teams. Working with a broad range of companies from nascent startups to global brands, Victoria focuses on creating beautiful, iconic products that build businesses and define categories.

Prior to joining Smartybrush, Victoria was an associate partner at a leading design studio in San Francisco, where she worked on high-profile brand and product experiences for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, P&G and Motorola.

Previously, Victoria worked with leading design firms including IDEO and Montgomery Pfeifer, where she brought her expertise in design and interfaces to technology and consumer electronics projects for a variety of clients, including AT&T, Hewlett-Packard, Oral-B, and Colgate.  In contrast to her technology experience, Victoria has also worked with WMF, a German company in the dental industry. Victoria graduated with a BFAA in industrial design from University of Virginia.
